You've raised something that's a major soapbox for me: people's presumptions about how a survivor behaves. Our instincts & defence mechanisms are very different to our rational thought processes - anyone that's ever said "why didn't (s)he..?" is basically making up stories based on - well, not-being-raped privilege.
